Just got back from Columbia and our annual Missouri football game. Hope the fishing derby worked out better than the Razorbacks and the Tigers days today. 

Give us the Skinny.

I'll do a little better write-up tomorrow, it's been a long day.  

Not a big turnout, 7 guys and we had food for 20, so those of us that were there ate pretty well.  We all hung around for a while talking and it was some great conversation, good bunch to hang out with and certainly had some laughs and I learned a few things fishing related too.

Cheesemaster was the Mike Tyson of this event, he weighed in 3 keepers and not only won the plaque for big bass, but won the one for best 3 fish limit.

It was a fun day for sure....good food and good conversation....I did use your suggestion Bill and caught a few, mainly dinks and it sounds like most caught fish.....but that Cheese guy caught them all on a jerk bait!!

Apparently he did not get the memo that this is NOT jerk bait season! 

It was good to see everyone not to mention the money that was raised for the High School fishing club. 

BTW Cheese I listened to the crying and moaning from the Husker less faithful...

We are going to change his name to Jerkait Master! He fishes that bait 12 months a year! I witnessed him catching them in 40 degree water last winter!

I just want to give a big thank you to M&M and Quillback. You guys do a lot of work to put these together and we all appreciate it. It’s always a fun time to visit and put names and faces together. I can’t wait for the next gathering.

So sorry to have missed it. Unfortunately it fell on a Saturday that the son and I take in our annual Mizzou game.

At least someone showed up to the game...... Second half was better, not sure if Coach Wilks has been out of the college game too long or lack of talent or both?  O simply does not click, maybe Spencer Rattler will be the next big ..... Kelly Bryant??
