It sucks thieves are everywhere. Last time we were in St. Louis area the motel we stayed in had glass all over the parking lot. They said 15 cars had been burglarized the night before. This was a nice area of the Sunset Hills suburb.

That’s the problem.   Thieves head to nice areas.   Better pickings. 😕

I bet the thieves were lactose intolerant vegans from California.

In all seriousness, I have had my things rummaged through while keeping my boat in a slip at stockton lake.  I take everything out of the boat that isn't bolted down, or that I don't want to donate.  Boat batteries, and gas tanks included.

So from the above post, I'm not sure which is worse - leaving the boat in my slip or trailering to a campground ramp in the winter when there is no one around and the truck gets broken into or the trailer or the truck gets damaged by someone who can't backup or get the tires damaged from the dock builders who dropped their bolts and nails on the ramps.  Dang sometimes I wish I liked golf. No, never.☹️

Danged if it don't.

AND they steal golf clubs too!!!

In fact, it's even easier cause the bag rack area, carts and parking lot have people constantly milling about taking clubs off putting clubs on loading the trunk of the car and most don't nobody know who's is what except the guy that owns 'em.

If he ain't nearby and watching then away you go!

2 - 3K worth of stuff all packaged up in a handy carry bag!

The discerning thief can do quite well in no time at all.

The only time my truck was broken into and ransacked was at the golf course.

Had my clubs with me and had tucked my wallet and checkbook up under the front seat on top of the power linkage….they did not find those but cleaned out everything else which still hurt.  Not to mention the repairs to the door on the drivers side.  7 other vehicles were hit at the same time, cops said this was getting to be the norm…they were probably only in that lot for 3 minutes.
