Lots of people off work today. Trucks and boats everywhere.  Tanic acid all over the place.  Water temps 53-57°.  They bit pretty good.

Wow WT up to 57.  Dam area 48.

Stained and off colored water warms up faster than that clear water.  Even Stockton was 50° yesterday.

Had a buddy that fished the dam today and found 55 degree. Back end of some of the pockets. Main lake I’m sure is what Bobby said.

No, we went down.  We fished between Cape and Piney.  We caught fish every place we stopped.  We were looking for crank fish but they were scarce.  Once we threw a Zero we couldn’t put them down and go back to cranking.

Talked to someone that was on the Kings yesterday, parking lots full at Viola and Sweetwater, boats everywhere.  Seems a lot were on the hunt for white bass.  Isn't this week spring break in MO?

Weekend of April 8 - KVD Big Bass Bash, MLF College/high school tourney, and there's another one, can't remember what one it is, but they have a permit for 100 boats or something like that.  That is going to be one busy weekend, especially if the weather is nice.

Yep, I was on the main lake points - maybe I should have went back in a  creek - I lost the main lake bite that had been so hot, only caught one nice Spot.
