Crocuses will be up anytime.

Up here in the middle part of the state of Mo. Last Thursday daffodils around Joplin.  As said in other threads bees are packing away pollen starting new broods. I lost a hive this winter. I have closed it and putting frames out for the other bees to utilize. They are all over it today. Every source of water bees are drinking it up. I love it!

A bee doesn't stand a chance around here today.    Sustained wind of 20 with gusts to 30-35.

Power was out here from 3:30am until almost 8:00

I am waiting to see the nightcrawlers and red worms come up after a rain.  Then I know it's time or past time to be visiting some of my favorite places.  Walleye, worms and morels the real trifecta!

We cleaned out the french drain in front of the garage yesterday, as well as the trench for water run off and both were full of worms. The chickens were there eating every one.
