Does anyone in that line of waiting vehicles get out and talk to the yakkers?  Or does everyone sit there and fume?  If I've got someone blocking a ramp, and it does happen from time to time, I'll walk up and ask them what's going on.  Usually that will work, sometimes not, but it at least makes them aware of what they are doing.

Listen, if a line of 5-6 idling trucks with empty trailers .....and 5-6 idling boats hovering around the ramp doesn't make them "aware of what's going on" then walking over and talking to them is just gonna slow the process even more !

It isn't ignorance.  The problem is candyassed city boys with new toys strapped to the top of their electric cars, and the mindset that THEY are eco-friendly.    Just like the asshats on bicycles with their cute little mushroom helmets on, that refuse to get out of heavy traffic during rush hour.

I was all for kayak angling...... thought it was cool as hell......Until THESE douchebag anti-Trumpers got into it.    Now they are more annoying than jet skis and Wake boats.

All these kayak dudes get off talking about they can go where bass boats cant, yet they are in the middle of Table Rock all the time, If you Kayak needs a trailer and has graphs and all the stuff a big boy boat has just buy a big boy boat. Kayaks cost about the same as a nice used bass boat these days

Go to Sturgis or Daytona nowadays during "Bike Week"....... Guys haul their Harleys to the party on COVERED TRAILERS.

Total pussification of everything American!  😢

Well the objective would be to persuade them to move out of the way so everyone can get in the water and start fishing.  At worst they blow you off and everyone can sit in their trucks and wait.   And the lesson those guys learn is that it is OK to block the ramp because the guys waiting don't seem to mind, and will sit in their trucks patiently waiting.

And if they really are eco-conscious you could point to all the idling motors and the immense damage being caused to the planet.  😃

Great response to wrench. We all know wrench doesn’t hold back with speaking his mind. 😁

For me, i would be afraid one of them would hit me with their purse. Those things can get heavy with all that fluff they carry just in case they identify as the opposite sex that day.  I will just sit in my truck and think of walking over to them.

TinBoats BassClub.  An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.

I don't always agree with what he has to say, but Randy Blaukat hits the nail on the head in this episode of his Intuitive Angling channel on YouTube:

Number one, he says 500-1000 Boats for our event and that’s not accurate. We will have maybe 350-400 boats total for the weekend.

Second, our Tour schedule is launched every year in July. We do our best to notify other tournament directors and regularly communicate. However, it seems that whoever is managing the BFL schedule finds a way to schedule on top of us about every other year. We get it that’s there’s only so many days but they could easily look at our schedule since it’s out months in advance of theirs. They choose not to.
