I’m just glad these things are expensive….keeps it out of the reach of most

Expense does not keep toys out of the hands of the poor.  Kids will go hungry first before the give up the toys.

This is not the end of the march of bass fishing technology.  You know there will be upgrades.  Maybe a wider band transducer, better image resolution.  Watching the pros last week where it was showing their screens, they find isolated fish that they were unsure if it was a bass or not.  There is room for improvement.  And the market is there, doesn't seem to phase anyone to drop a lot of coin on electronics.

Some of the guys he interviewed had additional transducers turned sideways in “ perspective” mode is what I gleaned from it.   To fish shallow.   For bedding fish.

It will be interesting to see how it plays out on Fork starting today.  Supposedly there are some bedding fish.

It will reshape “the Big Bass Bash” type events in the future. There will be a traveling band of marauders that go to each event

April 5th the show comes to Table Rock.  Also happens to be a MLF college event going on that same weekend.  Drivers, man your scopes!

Are they spending your money to buy their fishing equipment?

No they are not. And personally, I don't care what anyone spends their money on.

However, I do find it humorous that when the A-Rig came out it had to be banned. It was an unfair advantage. It was unsportsman like. But now that a product with deep pockets comes along, and it's A Okay. Everyone should have 5 or 6 of them.
