fishinwrench Posted February 29 Posted February 29 What I'm anxious to see....is some kid in a 16' Jon boat with a 20hp tiller, rigged with FFS, idling out past the bouys of the take-off cove, and taking everyone's money ! You know it's bound to happen. waterpossum, mixermarkb, Mitch f and 3 others 5 1

Quillback Posted February 29 Posted February 29 This is not the end of the march of bass fishing technology. You know there will be upgrades. Maybe a wider band transducer, better image resolution. Watching the pros last week where it was showing their screens, they find isolated fish that they were unsure if it was a bass or not. There is room for improvement. And the market is there, doesn't seem to phase anyone to drop a lot of coin on electronics.

Some of the guys he interviewed had additional transducers turned sideways in “ perspective” mode is what I gleaned from it. To fish shallow. For bedding fish.

And personally, I don't care what anyone spends their money on. However, I do find it humorous that when the A-Rig came out it had to be banned. It was an unfair advantage. It was unsportsman like. But now that a product with deep pockets comes along, and it's A Okay. Everyone should have 5 or 6 of them. Daryk Campbell Sr, fullmoon, vernon and 3 others 5 1
