Ham Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Seems like something I need to do. I fear I’m running out of days faster than I am checking states off the list. so far I’m only at 21 states. I know @Johnsfolly is keeping up with the states he has caught fish in. Is anyone else trying to do this? If so, where are you at number wise and what state are trying to go to next? fishinwrench Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Which State has the most expensive non-resident fishing license?
Devan S. Posted March 16 Posted March 16 I sorta am, I would like to stick to trout but there is some out there that become tricky so I may get creative when it gets down to the final innings. Ham and Johnsfolly 2
Daryk Campbell Sr Posted March 16 Posted March 16 I only have only fished 5, caught in 4. I do not wish to visit all of the states, so I'll never catch in all. I do want to catch some Colorado trout, and California bluegill. I plan to arrange a saltwater trip this year, but, Cody and the boys have been keeping me busy on MO and AR trout. snagged in outlet 3, Ham, Johnsfolly and 3 others 6 Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction. Quillback Posted March 16 Posted March 16 Just spent some time thinking about it, I believe I have caught something in 20 states, plus Ontario and British Columbia. Not a goal of mine to do all 50 states, just have been a lot of places in my life. Ham, snagged in outlet 3, Johnsfolly and 3 others 6
Terrierman Posted March 17 Posted March 17 Lemme see: California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Indiana, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa. Still shooting to catch one in Missouri.😵 So 23. Wait. How can I forget Kansas. 24 dpitt, Johnsfolly, Quillback and 1 other 4
fishinwrench Posted March 17 Posted March 17 I've only bought fishing licenses in 9 U.S. states. Missouri is still my favorite. There's only 2 that I regret not ever fishing in. Maybe I'll get it done before I completely lose the desire to travel. Now that I think of it.....I may have fished illegally in Canada, because we flew-in and never stopped anywhere to get permits 🤔 Ooops! 😳 dpitt, Daryk Campbell Sr, Johnsfolly and 1 other 3 1

But I also no longer have the desires to chase these list. I'm not saying that it's a waste of time, I wish I had those desires sometimes. But I would be just as happy walking down the road to Wilson's Creek. I would like to catch a shark on a flyrod though. Not a big one. One of those little 2 to 3 foot hammerheads I always see would be perfect. The list: Oklahoma, Kansas, Minnesota, North Carolina, Alabama, Arkansas, Missouri, Texas, Illinois, Florida. And South Texas (Mexico). Terrierman, Johnsfolly, snagged in outlet 3 and 3 others 6
