Seems like something I need to do. I fear I’m running out of days faster than I am checking states off the list.
so far I’m only at 21 states.

I know @Johnsfolly is keeping up with the states he has caught fish in. Is anyone else trying to do this? If so, where are you at number wise and what state are trying to go to next?

I only have only fished 5, caught in 4.   I do not wish to visit all of the states, so I'll never catch in all.  I  do want to catch some Colorado trout, and California bluegill.  I plan to arrange a saltwater trip this year, but, Cody and the boys have been keeping me busy on MO and AR trout.

Lemme see:  California, Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Indiana, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Illinois, Michigan, Wisconsin, Iowa.  Still shooting to catch one in Missouri.😵 So 23.

Wait.  How can I forget Kansas.  24

I've only bought fishing licenses in 9 U.S. states.  Missouri is still my favorite.  There's only 2 that I regret not ever fishing in.  Maybe I'll get it done before I completely lose the desire to travel.

Now that I think of it.....I may have fished illegally in Canada, because we flew-in and never stopped anywhere to get permits 🤔

Ooops! 😳

That's how I feel. But I also no longer have the desires to chase these list. I'm not saying that it's a waste of time, I wish I had those desires sometimes. But I would be just as happy walking down the road to Wilson's Creek.

I would like to catch a shark on a flyrod though. Not a big one. One of those little 2 to 3 foot hammerheads I always see would be perfect.

The list:

Oklahoma, Kansas, Minnesota, North Carolina, Alabama, Arkansas, Missouri, Texas, Illinois, Florida. And South Texas (Mexico).
