HE DID IT AGAIN

Recommended Posts

On Table Rock, I have several thousand hours of deep fishing experience with 2D and about 1000 hours of FFS usage out deep.

Since getting FFS I have not bothered to find one new location. I fish the same locations today that I have fished for years. So nobody dropped my off 50 yards from the summit (or honey hole).

When I arrive at my old locations, I use FFS to determine if fish are present. If fish are present I cast to them without having to fan cast to unproductive water.

FFS is educational, efficient,  and sometimes productive.

Caught this fish this morning using FFS to know my area held stubborn fish. Then used my eyes to see a flicker of shad 80 yds away, put the trolling motor on high and then capitalized.

Guys that are in their 70’s aren’t going to dictate the future of the Sport.

I think some circuit may have a derby without it, but if the guys aren’t putting fish in the boat at the rate they are now it will lose interest fast.

My post was just to show a buddy that’s loves to fish and works hard at it with a Super Nice fish for any lake. A total Monster for TR.

We have another thread on FFS.

I could show you pics of kids THAT DON'T WORK HARD AT ALL at it, holding 6-7-8 pounders.   And not just ONE..... A whole limit of them.

Nice fish, yeah !

You're the one that mentioned the "tech junkie" stuff, so you shouldn't get bent because the thread went there.  Psycho!  😅

I definitely see both sides. I agree that most of these kids without Livescope would never be in the top 50. It’s easier to catch fish than find fish and this Livescope proves that point.

I’d like see it in person.   I had been debating about getting SI/DI for years.  Then FFs came out and I think it’s fascinating.   I’d love to see what’s under the water in some of the areas I consistently catch fish from.

A buddy and I played with an Aqua-view for a couple days, and that was pretty cool.

They aren't "real time" though.   You'd feel a tick.....and then almost 2 seconds later you'd see the fish hit your jig.  Only once did we see a bite and never feel it, but by then it was TOO LATE. 😅

One dock that we thought was LOADED with brush turned out to be a whole set of patio furniture, and a TV antenna.

SI is great for scanning a large flat area, but it drives me crazy trying to scan a tapering shoreline or a point.....I don't get it 🤷‍♂️  The whole calculating shadows thing takes too much brain work if the bottom is not pretty much flat. 😅

DI is worthless to me, I much prefer the old school 2D image.
