Honestly it’s only about 20 fish an hour. There’s a lot less fish being moved than any 5 fish tournament. Not to mention if you do happen to catch a big one you would usually weigh it quickly. Also there is no weigh in line because you can weigh at any time . If you fished it you may have a change of mind of how horrible this all is. I would also say the vast majority of participants stay from Kimberling down .

If you’re operating a wake boat you should be the most aware of your WAKE.

Water temp was about 73 Sunday . Fishing was slow . Caught close to 30 bass but the biggest was only about 12 inches .

Believe what you want but I just came back from the river today . Just floated Greer to Turner and caught a good number of fish. Looked like it’s been stocked recently . One group we floated by were catching them very well . They had some really nice ones . Good luck !

First thought was an older XPS bait . Looks like it’s an Ozark Trail . The color listed in the image is wrong though .

I’ll add on to this , since we’re sharing our trips . I’ll stick up for the Florida strain haha .First time for me to lake fork. The 5-8lb fish the time of year I was there fought harder than any large mouth I’ve ever caught . They would dog you for a while then come up to the boat like they were done only to absolutely go ace duece . Lost a lot that size on the jerkbait that were just too hot to handle on my little table rock jerkbait rod . Set my PB the second day I was there with an 11.80 . Also had my heaviest 5 fish bag at 33 lbs . Should have had 5 that went 40 , which is just stupid to say haha . Lost several of those 7 -8lber that day . I can’t wait to go back. But like Bill Mentioned it was packed . And apparently by Fork standards pressure was light .

My second biggest came from up there . It was right around 10lbs . Seen one in the back of deckers when it was flooded that had to of been a Double Digit too .

Robbie Dodson would be my choice . https://www.dodsonguideservice.com

It’s crazy how many love to hang out under the boat/motor . I’m always wondering if it’s the prop they see flashing ? Or just the shade ? I’ve seen them leave a piece of cover and swim right to the boat .

Nah you will be fine . The piles are marked down that bank . The brush is right under the fishing dock . Casting out and tight lining shouldn’t be a problem for you

I’ve seen plenty of crappie come from that access . There is a fishing dock down there that’s loaded with brush . The channel bank to the north of the ramp is brushed pretty good . I’ve also seen people catching them from the access dock as well . It would be worth a try . I hear the crappie are really biting up there .
