MS crappie are just build differently. The MS crappie has a set of shoulders like its been lifting weights. It just doesn't compare to the crappie locally.

Its the livescope principle......just because someone takes you there....tells your what to do, when to do it, and how to do it....the fish still has to bite. The only person that gets credit for that is the guy holding the rod.

If they are recreational then its highly unlikely they would pass up trees, docks, ect full of active fish if they didn't see big ones or go out looking for the open water roamers that are generally bigger. Fishing like that isn't a numbers game. Tournament anglers aren't looking for a 15 fish limit most are just a 7 fish limit so you have a whole lot more benefit to taking the risks of passing up barely legal fish looking for bigger fish.

This right here.....Every argument I see for livescope assumes that the hammers are still hammers. Livescope and SI have allowed the bottom 90th percentile to get significantly better, to eliminate tons of unproductive water, to get real time feedback, to know nearly exactly where your bait is with respect to a fish or target, to shrink the years it took the hammers to learn. It doesn't make them all hammers but taking that bottom percentiles and making them 20% better is a huge deal. I don't think were going to see this kind of stuff go away but I do think between the last 15-ish years of side imaging, livescope, and the user base growth that were going to see some reductions limits in certain places pretty soon.

Get rid of multispeed transmissions and run your car at 5k everywhere you go and I bet it doesn't get 20mpg and dang sure won't last 200k miles.

Agreed had a terrible balance on the background noise vs. the performers.

I have a family member on a local SWAT team. He brought his to the farm one time to shoot and this is 100% my experience shooting full auto. Zero control and to someone untrained its essentially a run away with the recoil for the first 15 shots and an overcorrection the final 15 if your fast. Best I can tell is full auto was only meant for running into a room knowing full well your going to die and the goal is to hit as many ceiling fans as possible or just wasting rounds and making noise. 3rd burst or semi auto is all they use unless a real SHTF situation.

Those things are freaky when you've been drinking all day and didn't know they exist until you go dragging them through the hole in the floor.

For the last 2-3 years I have said Roaring river was devoid of lunkers but there is quiet a few right now since last year was the first year the hatchery ran they had to be trucked in from somewhere. Just trying to catch them elsewhere.

So you guys are telling me if its lunkers I'm after to stay away from Bennett? Guess Ill focus on Montauk this year.

Pretty cool....I wouldn't worry about the added publicity.....that place is packed year round and even the hard to get to spots are full when the weather is nasty.

I've seen them stock a couple times at Beaver....usually 10am on a Friday. Everyone is setup before they arrive so I would assume some sort of schedule. I've never seen the browns get after them right then and there would be cool to see.

Frozen gallon or 2l jugs will stay frozen longer and wont soak everything inside as they melt. Then you can get double use and drink the water vs just draining the water like you do with ice.

Not for nothing....she had to have the degree. If she didn't have it how much would she be making? Would she even be considered for the job she has today at her currently pay level? She went to Missouri S&T right? How many people she know drop out or transfer to something easier? Not everyone can do it. Just like not everyone can properly work on boat motors....lots of people can swap parts but that doesn't make them a mechanic right?

Add in the fact that you can go to a super cheap college or super expensive college can totally change the ROI numbers and its 90% on the investment side not on the return side. The blanket statement of college is or isn't worth it doesn't work anymore. You have to be more specific. If you go because you need the degree to be effective(Doctors, Lawyers, Engineers, STEM) then the degree only gets your first foot in the door. Its been my experience that every job after that cares less and less about your degree but your still have to have it.

Wasn't the first half of your life swinging, parties, and wild stories? Now your just killing time. I don't ever wanna grow up.
