I use the Pline Flouro Coated and like it well. 8 and 10 lb on my spin reels, never have failures. Keep fresh line every year, that helps too. -

Crossed over the Diversion Channel bridge on I 55 this morning, something had them jumping around just upstream of the bridge. Saw a big school jumping around. I have notice that something about the jet boat we run seems to stir them up. Have not seen them jump in boat, but when we run a hole, they will start jumping around. -
If the Crooked Penis guy Bezos goes up and not comes down, the next election may be more secure.

Its always been Covid's fault. Too many idle people sitting around on free cheese. They all started handing out money for it, some just don't know when to stop it.

More black tails. Who would have thought the rivers would be busy on this weekend. Drove over the Castor River and there were so many campers that you could not squeeze a human between them. My little ole home water has taken a beating over the last decade. I don't even go there anymore.

I would just put a weed barrier down and add the soil. I assume the dimensions given will be a 1 foot deep bed which should give you enough room above the turf.

It was pretty well wiped out last year when I went thru. Was planning on a camping trip there and the whole place was under water. There were a few hilltop spots that looked like permanent RV campers. First time there and the website did not even mention the damage from the flood, along with alot of other Corps sites. We ended up at the State Park at Bull Shoals only to find the ramp closed for the Bass Pro Weekend. Corps really jack things up when it comes to access and camping.

Electronics are not always spot on. Can't rely on that either. But they are getting better.

We have always wore blaze orange on the farm during firearms season while on equipment or working on the farm. Did I ever mention the idiot trespasser a few years back set up behind a deer decoy in the middle of our field wearing full camo on opening day? I had a good shot on him, but he saw me bearing down on him and waved his arms. I was only using the scope to glass the field, but he never knew any better. So many violations there if I would have pressed it, felon in possession of firearm, trespassing, no blaze orange, and probably no license.
