My supply of finesse jigs (original 5/16 Eakins) is low.  What is the best replacement?  Chompers?  Jewell finesse? (head seems different?) Other?

Thank you,

I would go to TW site and look at their finesse jig place. Look at the pictures and pick out some that are close to what you like. But a small assortment and give them a whirl. But more of what works for you.

Nice looking jigs Mitch.

Otherwise what Ham mentioned. Just about every company makes a ball head finesse jig like the Eakins. Lot of shops carry heads without skirts too.

I've made all of mine since buying the first pack of Eakins.

Most Walmart's still carry 5/16oz Jewel finesse jigs (same thing) in black/blue, green pumpkin candy and PBJ. Swingoilbaits is a forum sponsor and has 5/16oz finesse jigs and they are priced very well!

Our own Pepe will have finesse jigs available soon under the White River Lures label. As a bonus, all purchases will benefit the angler's charity of choice. Website is under construction now. Donna and I have fished some of his prototype jigs and they are most excellent.

Has he given any indication when the web site will be up and running Champ?
