I've been on the forum for 7 years now, and have met some neat folks on here through jigfest getogethers and making great friends like Ham that I fish with when I get the chance!  Today was another great example.  Today I met up with Hogwally and Smalliebigs on the river to fish and film some footage with there new HI Def (Mitch) Craw.  I have to say I had a blast with these guys, it was like we have fished together for years!  The cold front blew through today which made fishing tougher at times, especially the wind, but we had a great time, and still scored some good fish.  Aaron knowledge of the river there in impressive, he could tell us how deep the water was we were fishing, Scott and I would laugh when we looked at the depth finder and it was exactly what he said.  I learned today from these guys some tactics I wanna try on the Current river down here, and learned from watching Aaron on how to fish the Craw more effectively.   I haven't went over the footage yet but I will be putting something together that we may share on here eventually!  Great time fellas, looking forward to it again when Mitch and Paul can join in on the fun!  Here's a few pics from the day!   Bret

Sounds likes an awesome day! One of these days we'll get together and do some fishing as well Brett, even if it's throwing jerkbaits for trout. :D

Bret is not only a really cool cat he is also very fine fisherman and I can  appreciate  that.

We had a really great time and had to work really hard in those conditions  but, I think if we could have fished the Jerkbait on a few more holes a 20 would have come our way....as it was not bad at all really. The wind was evil and that high pressure didn't help but, we caught some feesh :)

Frankly, I am appalled at the subliminal sub text you guys are flaunting. I, we, as forum users, shouldn't have to be assaulted by your sordid behaviors, especially on a fishing forum. I respectfully ask you to take your tawdry lifestyle to the nearest pink tree house and leave it there.

No Doubt that it's the friendships that I've made through being a member here. It is very improbable that I would have met these folks any other way.

johnsfolly and I fished yesterday. We had a big time and caught a bunch of nice fish in the high winds. Wind always cheats. I look forward to fishing with him again this year.

Lord willing, I'll fish with Billethead again next week. Look forward to fishing with other OA guys the rest of the year.

The decoding of these "phrases" takes special skills. Bravo, comrade

I agree with Ham. I have met a bunch of great guys from this forum and have been fortunate to fish with a few and hope to fish with a few more this year and hopefully for years to come. This is place where we can each feed off or each others addictions (have fun JoeD). I don't see that as a bad thing. Ham and I caught a bunch of fish yesterday including a couple of real toads, but it may have been these two fish that got us the most excitement.

This trip would never had happened if Phil hadn't set up this forum for us to talk about fishing here in the Ozarks.
