Patlock and I put in at the State Park at 6am. We fished that cove on the other side of the lake. The one with no fish. Anyway we managed to catch about 40 (mix of SM & KY) 5 of which were solid keepers. No keepers after 8:30 though. Fish were caught on the old shoreline to 22'. So if the lake is still 14' high we sat in 35 - 40' and threw Shakey Heads and Neds towards the old bank. I had a couple follow a spinnerbait but no bites. Most fish caught on points or within a cast of the Point. We returned all the fish to the water including the 2 pet keepers we caught near a certain dock. WT was 61.5 to 62.4. Got off the water at 11am.

Great job, guys. Donna and I fished 9:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and only had 12 with two good keeps. We stayed mostly on main-lake gravel points from Cow down to near the shan't-be-named cove, although we did not trespass as you guys did. Ned and finesse jig were the only producers for us. Wind was a bear after 11 a.m. and then out came the barges, jet skis and ocean liners. How long til fall?

I'll throw my hat in this ring as well.

After a day of travel and unpacking, got the family out for about 45 minutes prior to sundown.  Buzzed up to one of our usual haunts near Indian Point and put m&m's report to use.  As promised, marked and caught fish parked right near that old bank line under about 15-20 ft of water.  Ended up with 5 shorts and one barely keeper before two tired kids became too unruly to push staying out later.  :(  Shaky worm and ned accounted for the hooked fish.  Had two nibble a tube but wouldn't commit, and one shallow fish throw loose a 5/16 finesse war eagle halfway to the boat.  Back at it tomorrow AM.

Any problems putting in a State park ramp???

State Park is fine - just a little congested and there are a few of the "usual" types throwing temper tantrums I guess because others are "in their space".

Launching was a piece of cake and that's all we needed to do since we're slipping the boat for the week.

Parking and loading appeared to be a bit more challenging than usual but not a big deal.

Kind of resembled a holiday weekend due to the cramped quarters.

What Vernon said. We got in early and had no congestion. When we were taking out there were 4 youngsters at the ramp. It looked like they were taking an older ranger out but it was cockeyed on the trailer so they just kind of blocked the ramp trying to decide what to do. We left before disaster struck. One of them took off his shirt and went in the water past his waist. He told the others the water was cold. 61 degrees is cold but when you're 19-20 sometimes your decision making ability is clouded.
