Ok, so #113 on that list is getting a little ridiculous.  A 16" screen on a fish finder? $5000-5800??  That's more than a lot of people spend on their boat.

Agreed. At this point it's just like TV's. How big can we go? I am not one to talk about spending money on tackle just to chase pea brained green and brown fish....but having a boat rigged with 10-20K worth of sonar???? Come on.

Im happy with 7 inch screens or even 5 inch....4.5 screen with gps on my console and a 7 inch on bow ..7 inch on console would be better as to see the gps map better.

It boggles my mind that there hasn't been a manufacturer to come up with essentially the transducer connected to a little computer CPU, with video out jacks, and then let the user decide on what screen to buy and use. I guess they protect them selves buy charging premiums for the screen size when in reality all you are paying for is the sonar technology.

You can buy a top of the line 24" TV for $150... with minimal difference the sonar screens. Pay another $100 bucks and you can make it touch screen.

Sonar companies are GOUGING people.

These boots look like they would be decent warm water wading shoes if they keep the sand and gravel out. At least the black ones do.

I know Ned has done fairly well with the prototype of that Zman finesse creature. Similar to the old puddle jumper. But it looks like the Boar Hogz, and like it's maybe the same mix with less salt. If so, Zman can keep it.

Would love a smaller version of the Palmetto Bugz though.

People are gouging themselves. These companies are just taking advantage of it.

Yeah, no disagreement there.

Their new dropshot bait looks like it could be a good Ned bait too. I'm excited about the finesse creature, but most of the lakes I'm fishing in NE KS are much shallower and dirtier so a slower fall and more bulk is a good thing at times. I know Ned talks highly of it.

I think I would rather have gravel, or even thumb tacks, in my shoes than have to wear those. LOL.

While I don't have much need for wading shoes/boots I gotta say that I bought a pair of the more "normal" Soft Science shoes (Fin 2.0) earlier this year and they are by FAR the lightest and most comfortable shoe that I have ever owned.

They dry in the blink of an eye when wet as the proprietary insole doesn't absorb water.

I originally got them for fishing but ended up with another pair of the Fin 2.0 and a pair of the canvas model and they are the only thing that I wear now.  My brother now has three pair also and a couple of other friends immediately jumped on the train after slipping ours on.

If these guys ever start making golf shoes my entire footwear collection will be Soft Science!

They currently have a 20% off sale for 4th of July and also offer a thirty day money back guarantee.

Recently saw that Hank Parker and Jimmy Houston are endorsing them.

Does that make them "old man" shoes?  Do they come in white with a matching belt?  :)

I will be 60 this fall, so I am always on the lookout for comfortable shoes.

For 70 -100 bucks a pair they better be able to walk on the water or put themselves on your feet.
