fishinwrench Posted July 6, 2017 Posted July 6, 2017 Did they bust any of them for possession of liquor inside state park boundaries ? I've always wanted to see them go all Nazi on that rule. 😀 dan hufferd and grizwilson 2
Mitch f Posted July 6, 2017 Posted July 6, 2017 Glad to see them get busted. Some people think they are above the law. "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor
Gavin Posted July 6, 2017 Posted July 6, 2017 23 tickets from 660 stop & searches? 3.5% yield on a revenue violation per stop. 637 vehicle operators & plus occupants hassled for no reason. Hard to call that a success. bfishn, Greasy B and awhuber 3
Gavin Posted July 6, 2017 Posted July 6, 2017 Could get more by tracking license plates and how often the stop and take a limit and return in any park zone.

Hard to call that a success. Or you could look at it the other way and that's 660 people that won't violate the rules anymore cause they know there is a possibility of getting caught. Or that there really are a lot of good honest people in the world that follow the rules. Hard to call that a success. I've never felt hassled by a checkpoint. And I have been through many of them in several different states. Born to Fish 1
fishinwrench Posted July 6, 2017 Posted July 6, 2017 I'm so against "checkpoints" that it's really hard for me to not be a total jackass to the poor guys that get ordered to conduct them. MrErickson and awhuber 2
