So my wife is in a Chinese fishing group, they all met at Suson Park the other day catching the newly released trout. It was hilarious watching the Bosnians catching fish in one specific spot and all the Chinese running over trying to see what bait they were using. 😂😂

So the leader of the Chinese fishing club is a lady. Last month they had a meeting at a local Chinese restaurant and we were invited. The lady who was president of the group comes over and says “You wife told me you were good fisherman...Can you help us catch fish?” I asked her what type of fish are you targeting. She said “Any kind!”

ps. Forgot to mention my wife’s friend back in China lost her father when she was a teenager. He was fishing with bombs and blew himself up...true story, unfortunately.

I’m afraid our two cultures have similar sporting traditions. When I was a young man I spent time visiting friends in Centerville where a family member had a hand prosthetic from the same fishing method. I wonder how good the Chinese are with a gig?

         Have had several problems with them at Caplinger mills. I apologize if it offended you. I will Pm you with details. There is no need to lump all in what I witnessed and was in the middle of . There is good and bad in every tribe, mine included,

It didn’t offend me. I was just curious what kind of things happened. I know some of us do some pretty ignorant things sometime. Just how it is, happens with a lot of people. I was just interested to hear what went down.

Haris 122 my wife is runs a practice right now at St.Alexius hospital and 98% is Bosnian. We both have much respect for the Bosnian population that has taken roots in the St.Louis area as they seem to be a hard working group.

I was starting to think Bosnian was code for something. I guess there are some around? That’s not a group I hear anything about around here. 

Biggest trout I ever caught was a fat stocker out of a local municipal lake many years back. I took a picture and put it back. An Asian fellow down the bank looked at me like I was nuts.
