Seeing an ad for Dodge trucks is not going to make me go out and buy one, since i don't care for Dodge. I don't make cookies so even a fish shaped cookie cutter is out of the question.

What ya got against COOKIES ?

I wish I had some cookies right now.  I don't even care what they are shaped like, I'd straight up eat a penis cookie, I don't even care.

Unfortunately, I can't control (or I don't know how to) ads that appear in the google ad spaces on OA and OAF.  They are viewer driven - what you browse on your computer shows up in ads.  You can click on them and object to the content or use an ad blocker.

I will point out though that when you post an image of the objectionable ad, it does show up and viewable to everyone.

That explains the prom dresses and "underpinnings" mixed with my trailer tire ads.

Being a simple man, mine are confined to fishing and golf stuff with an occasional lawn mower ad thrown in just to illustrate the wide ranging "variety" that is my life.

By the way, I've heard of prom dresses but what the heck is an "underpinning"?

Sounds pretty exotic over my way.

The ladies just prepared for Winter Royalty a couple of weeks ago. And prom. Apparently underpinnings of special design are as necessary as gore tex.

I think there's a link between subject matter and ads too. Let's see if prom dresses show up now. Prom dresses, I say! Anybody know where I can buy a prom dress in a large?

Ahhhh, OK.

When you phrase it like that I at least understand the concept!

Never having had kids (much less girls) this stuff can start to sound like those alien speaking weirdos pretending to be trying to fix Babler's computer in a big hurry!

And I certainly don't need any more evidence that the world has passed me by either.
