Everyone around here is just done sweating it, and they are all going about their normal business.   I suppose if there's a giant outbreak then they'll go back to being careful again.....maybe.

I guess I'm blind to the irreparable damage he's done.    I hope my kids, your nieces and nephews, and Baron Trump all have a future. 🙄

Why do you suppose he would just up and ruin the world for his own son and grandchildren?   He should know that it's important to keep kissing the asses of all foreign leaders and maintain that "friendship" at all costs.  Right?  After all, we owe them SO much!

Can we imagine a pandemic worse than COVID where an outbreak of a new and virulent virus comes from a tick found on the lips of alpacas. 90 percent of the human race is wiped out. The few survivors then have to live in a post alpaca lip tick wasteland😝!

People in high places around the world are taking note of how this virus brings the world to its knees, and not from a medical standpoint .

Consensus seems to be that no one wants political posts here or in any of the forums, you can hit the "report post" option in the upper right and if the post is political in nature I can delete it.

I can't move individual posts to the political forum, only entire threads.

I also think that it is tough to talk about the whole COVID thing without mentioning politicians as they are so embedded in it.

I don't know what it is like in everyone else's part of the world, but I think everyone in the state of Arkansas was out driving around yesterday, traffic was bad coming back from Table Rock.  Quite a few people hauling boats and campers.  Hopefully we won't see a new wave of infections.

One of the community gyms is reopening, I'd like to go but there's  a half page of rules to follow and you need to make a reservation a week in advance.  I'll just have to continue walking for now.

my wife works at a bank and was dreading yesterday.  Her nightmares came true.  1st of the month, as well as the 3rd of the month(Sunday).  All the government checks came out(SS, etc.)  On top of that the SS folks got their stimulus checks.  They have two drive thrus for all banking needs now since the inside of the bank is closed.  She said they were lined up 10 deep all day.  The traffic in Arcadia Valley was insane.  Campers, boats, trailers full of side by sides, all headed for Black River, Current River or Clearwater.  Needless to say, me, the dog and cats all stayed quarantined in the man cave.

Scary stuff Mitch. They are still learning about this virus. Did you see the report where some kids have extremities like fingers and toes that look like frostbite.

Covid toe is what it's being called.
