Not to even mention Jordan Lee.   College National Champion 2014  Back to Back Classic wins in 17 and 18.  Just win baby, he is always a threat.

Guy is so versatile it is unreal, does not matter what bait is in his hand he is deadly with it.  One of the guys said he is a guy that can pull up on a smooth point in the middle of the day, make one cast and a school of 4 pounders will blow up around him

Wheeler and Evers are 1A and 1B for me. Mark Daniels Jr was having a great season too until everything got shutdown.

I watched the bass masters and didn't know anyone.

The Bass Elite guys are the ones left over after they picked the top 80 fishermen in the world the the MLF Bass Pro Series.  Some pretty good sticks there and I'm sure politics had a little to do with it.

Wheeler is there at the top now as well as Edwin..close if not ahead, you have to consider Ott Defoe ...he won a little tourney called the Bassmaster Classic in 2019, an MLF at the start of the  2020 year and had numerous high finishes in MLF.  If not for missing the last tourney he might have been anglers the year for MLF in 2019.

Just saw that Wheeler won the FLW series (new name for that series) event on Pickwick last weekend.  $38K in winnings - dunno if that is a boat, which is my guess rather than cash, but still a nice haul.

Wheeler is #1 in my book.

Wheeler is #1 without a doubt and I'd probably go with Thrift after him. After that, I'd have a hard time choosing between several anglers. Edwin Evers, Jordan Lee, Aaron Martens, Andy Morgan and Ott Defoe all come to mind. Amart hasn't been as solid the past few years as he had been. Morgan was always the FLW version of Amart IMO. Both guys were consistently in the hunt, but always seemed to fall just short of the W. Evers, Lee and Defore are all hammers, but I'd give versatility to Defore between those three. Jordan and Edwin have won some serious $$$ in recent years though.
