How do you back a buggy with a trailer with a horse?   I give the guy props for that alone!!

Must have one of those Pro Trailer Backup Assist that Ford uses on their trucks in that buggy. 😃

We were headed to Jeff City one day, and came across a buggy accident.  The horse I guess decided he needed a drink and wandered off the road, down into a ravine.  They couldn't unhook the buggy and were trying to get the horse to back up 8-10 feet so they could get him unhitched and turned around.  After 20 minutes of trying to unsuccessfully persuade the horse to back up, the old boy ran out of patience, he grabbed a 3' long piece of driftwood, grabbed the horses ear and gave it a hard twist, and then started beating it across the bridge of its nose.    Turns out that's reverse for equestrians. 😂

I have seen this on 13 highway just North of Osceola. They had on kayak on top of the buggy and four stacked on trailer I did get a blurry picture.

I saw a similar empty rig parked beside the road at a Mark Twain lake ramp. The horses looked bored but at least they were in a shady grassy area.

The Amish (or Mennonites) that I've seen at Stockton drive trucks worth 10x what mine is, and spend half the time talking on their smart phones.

Those wouldn’t be Amish.  There are several groups in SWMO who do some modern and some 1800s stuff.  I’ve had several from Monett do work for me.

Pics or it didn't happen😁

Told you crappy pic. I did not tell leadfoot Pat to slow down plus I thought it might offend them if we stopped ahead of them and I got out and took a good shot. Contrary to most belief I am a pretty nice guy.79007.jpeg
