fishinwrench Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 Could have won video of the year if he would have hopped up, put the trolling motor down, and started slingin' an A-rig. 😅 cheesemaster, Ryan Miloshewski, slothman and 8 others 3 8
tjm Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 Probably obvious to you boaters, but, why wasn't there a large rock hole in that hull? And does this sort of thing happen often enough that he doesn't seem particularly disturbed by it? MarkG52 1

He's lucky it didn't come to a sudden stop when it hit the bank. Terrierman, crazy4fishin and Daryk Campbell Sr 3

My other question was why he didn't get bucked off, thrown out, even his cap stayed in the boat. Thing looked almost like a planned stunt for a movie with the camera mounted to see it all.
moguy1973 Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 I like how his first instinct was to make sure the rods on the deck were ok. Who cares about the boat. I knew he was going to be in trouble when he was out there in the wakes of the other boats and was keeping the hammer down trying to go over them. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
mixermarkb Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 That’s incredibly bad boat driving for a “professional” fisherman. evilcatfish 1
evilcatfish Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 Not sure I'd even call this an "accident. More of a blatant, and complete lapse of judgement on the boater's part that could've been easily avoided. He's lucky this f-up didn't cost him his life. I'm not really a tourney guy so what do I know, but the way some people take off and run down lake is downright dangerous, and a little disturbing. magicwormman and snagged in outlet 3 2
merc1997 Bo Posted March 17, 2021 Posted March 17, 2021 besides not knowing how to drive a boat, it was ignorant on his part for going around a blind corner the wrong way on the inside. what if there had been someone coming from the other way that would have been in the right, and he collided with them. exactly what we need an operators test just as with cars. but, you can't fix stupid. bo mixermarkb, Daryk Campbell Sr, magicwormman and 6 others 9
