Several guys around here (and elsewhere I'm sure) have gotten themselves busted by making and posting YT videos that clearly show their kill switch lanyard is not attached. 

If Phil isn't required by law to wear a PFD then why is it even a problem?   Should he do it just to encourage others to do it?     

I swear.....this world we live in nowadays.... 🙄

speaking of life jackets, it amazes me to watch floaters with their dogs coming down Black River.  The majority of the dogs have their life jackets on while the humans do not.  I just shake my head in amazement.

Did you see Blakes pic of a boot/fish the other night?  It was twice the length of his boot… he wanted to show them up. They didn’t respond last i looked.

I’ve never felt like I needed to wear one. Of course no one likes to wear them especially in the summer. People have mentioned it and I ignored them. I guess I had an Epiphany one day. I thought I’d we wore them others may follow suit and save a life one day. Set a good example… now I find myself wearing one when I’m not doing one cast.

Good deal Phil.  Best to have one on and not need it than need it and not have one on.  Way too many people think they can swim a long distance yet they never go swimming.  Many drownings could be prevented if folks just wore a PFD.

My son is currently taking Boaters Ed.  He informed me that he doesn't have to wear a pfd in MO as he is 14.  I said 18 and under.is the law.  I was wrong. MO law says under 7.

Phil, I have seen Blake catch plenty of fish on One Cast and he always seems to handle the fish in the proper manner. He does a nice job on the videos. I have made it a point to always have my life jacket on and buckled up any time the big motor is running. I fish by myself a lot of the time so I wear one of the inflatable types. I always wear one when fishing alone, you never know when a large wake or you just loose your balance and fall comes along. Much easier for any one to find you if the worst happens. I would hate to end up in the water on Taney as it is so cold. You are setting a great example for others by wearing your pfd.

Keep up the good work with One Cast and Ozark Anglers.

If Blake caught a fish twice the length of his boot it was indeed a nice fish. Congrats Blake.

Do those work if you go into the drink unconscious? The wake resulting in losing balance strikes me as possibly a way to become injured.

Tjm they auto inflate when wet.
