Let’s just face it Phil, most of the people who regularly post on this forum couldn’t catch a fish if their life depended on it. The ones who rarely post and are quiet most of the time are the good fishermen. The rest talk about all other subjects under the sun. It’s a pretty boring place on here without political discussion. After all, if something is important in our lives doesn’t it make sense to talk about it? I’m sick of the tattle tails and so called “moderators” who think they have a power trip and are constantly personal messaging each other and gossiping with each other. The ones who “thanked you” for posting this are the biggest offenders, except for @bfishni think he’s a pretty cool dude. So long, I’m out. Hope to see you Phil and Lilly’s landing next year.

That maybe true but nonetheless it is sad.  I’ve watched this site change over the years seeing many actual good fishermen quit posting and leave.  One example is the Stockton forum.  There used to be lots of guys who posted on it.  Now there are hardly any.  A couple of sites that I regularly visit have tens of thousands of members and moderators who won’t allow any rules infractions at all.

The thing of it is.....Is that you can't leave this place. 

No matter how butthurt/pissed off somebody here makes you, ya gotta stay.   Call it "brotherhood" or whatever cheesy term makes sense to you.   

Like Hotel California.  You can check out anytime you like.... but you can never leave.    🤷

I will admit that the last couple of times out I couldn't catch much of anything. But my new floating partner is pretty cute.

I hate that stuff too. One member here used to text me and Facebook message me all the freakin' time. He took it too far, multiple times, so I blocked him both places.

Nope. I thanked Phil because he gently suggested no politics. Just like the really easy-to-follow rules say.
