No kidding.  I just don't get it.....if you are there to DO THINGS then you're not gonna spend any time chillin' in the room.    All you need is a clean place to shower and sleep.   

Hell I don't even care if there's a TV or a dining table in the room or not.   

I've been known to take the bathroom door off the hinges, lay it across the beds, and use it for a fly tying table. Works great. 👍 

These fishing destinations all lack those 40.00/night joints like that nowadays.   The world is going to hell. 😅  Do people actually take a trip to Branson and spend all day sitting in their fancy "crib"?

Campground is like $20 per night I think.  Unless you drive in late and leave early😁

We fished last weekend at Truman.  Motel was $75 per night for the most basic of accommodations.  But it did have a very nice lake view at sunset.

3.00/hr. is a reasonable amount to pay, especially when split between two guys.....which is usually the case.

Years back we stayed at Oak Hills. Thought it was great. If they still have the same owners I'd highly recommend them.
