Oh I get it.   It's a science experiment.

Like bug collecting.  Skipping through a field of daisy's with a butterfly net....kinda thing.  Spouting Latin lingo and all.

Somebody has to do it.   👍

I would say a challenge like when I used self bows and stone points to kill deer. It's not for everyone. Whatever floats your boat. I jest with John about it like others here. He is a fish encyclopedia. Helped many here I'd their catches. Just don't label all fish as suckers, shiners perch or brim or sunnies. :) Makes John shake And shiver isn't that correct @Quillback ?

Speaking of gay, I skipped out on Latin in College because the teacher was, very flamingly so.

I thought that Latin would help me out to understand the naming on all of the old school systems that were carried along into the New World naming of everything.  But, my upbringings could not let me try to learn from someone that did not know simple biology.

When I went out yesterday I caught 3 bass, no micros.   I was trying, and seen many.   Just saying, micro fishing and tenkara were harder than traditional bass fishing.

I have to find a T-shirt that has "I 💓Bream" written on it, so that if I go fishing again with JF I can wear it just to aggravate him.

Twas a frustrating day for most.  16 boats competed. Only took 12.18 to win, and BB was 4.42

The winning limit was caught pitching a 3/8 jig behind docks in the back 1/2 of the most pounded creek in the Gravois arm of the lake.

@conorsixtakcand I did all the right things (but apparently in the wrong spot) and caught short fish all day, never touched a keeper.  Sure enjoyed fishing with him though,  dude definitely has the skills 😊👍
