Wheeler is the full package for sure, but there are other little things he pulls out of his hat as well. In one of those tourneys last year, he and several were bagging up some smallies. He realized he could still get bit using heavier line which allowed him to land the fish much quicker. I'm not positive which event that was or whether he won it, but I do know that it made a huge difference in his final placement.

As for Marty, he knows his business. Donna and I just can't stand his droning voice and the props ... the sunglasses for More Than Meets the Eye segments; the binoculars around his neck for the Sig Sauer segments; and that dam Yeti cooler they sit between him and whoever he's interviewing at the moment. For gosh sakes, people, NO ONE carries and ice chest in a bass boat anymore and hasn't for 25 years. They are built in!!!! 

Champ - what do you really feel about Marty, binoculars and Yeti? You need to learn to let those negative feelings out 😆

Everyone that has a Yeti feels the need to parade it anytime a camera gets pointed in their direction.  It's a bonafide status symbol.

In the case of the MLF deal the segment is sponsored by yeti so of course they lean on a yeti for “ The yeti cooler Talk”.   A take on water cooler talk I guess.  They are too heavy and too small in my opinion.

Weather it be a Yeti, Engle, or K2 cooler using the 60 series on all models they hold 2 blocks of Ice with one bag poured over the top of the drinks 12 waters 24 cans on one side. 12 boxes of crawlers in the other half side of the cooler. 

All 3, in the summer, easy 10 days in our aluminum trout boats. Really about a buck a day for ice cost. 

Are they worth it. Yes to us because we get a guide discount on them and then, your not continually messing with putting ice in everyday. 

Almost all the guides are using them in non- conforming boats that don't have a cooler. Makes a great padded seat too. 

Minus, big, heavy, full retail cost.
