I'm just the opposite.  His fishing tips are lame AF, but his rants are spot on.

No I agree with him on that aspect. I just think his is a whiner. Most tips suck for fishing but I have picked up some that work.

Alrighty, so the other rants I can recall are......

The use of FFS in tournaments.

Guys driving bassboats like formula 1 race cars. 

People blocking ramps by not having their boats already loaded and ready before pulling onto a ramp. 

Co-anglers cluttering up the boat with insane amounts of excess tackle. 

Big money douchebags destroying huge woodlots so they can build giant parking lots. 

 

All seem like reasonably valid points TO ME.   And actually needs to be said by SOMEBODY that isn't a nobody.  

What is he allegedly "whining" about that turns you off ?  Just curious. 🤔

I’ve always thought if One Cast was on a bass lake like Table Rock, I’d have more traffic. I told @Bill Babler he should start it but he’s too techno deficient. 😝

Randy's online success is due in a very large part to his partnering up with Jonny Schultz on Fish The Moment. Jonny is very tech savvy and also creates great content with solid info. Jonny created a very solid and successful brand.

Randy has stated a few times that the titles to his videos is worded the way it is to draw viewers and clicks. Smart business move, but if a guy reads some of the comments on his videos, he gets lots of flack for it. 
 

I like the guy personally. Have chatted with him via PM’s and he appears very respectful. Tho some say he is a washed up has been, he does still offer some good content on his channel.

Jonny is a brain. Guy is smarter than most, and fully understands the business side of his work, and most aspects of Bass behavior and how to put that into success. Really enjoy watching his stuff.

The FFS one gets me because he is fishing pro tournaments and whining about FFS because he doesn’t have one and doesn’t know how to use one. That’s his excuse for losing. I mean what did he expect fishing in those tourneys. Also before he was complaining about the price of bass boats and went with an aluminum boat for a year or two then went straight back to a big tricked out skeeter. There are others but I can’t recall. 
I mean do give it to the guy he is doing a great job with the channel. He post a video everyday which is hard to do. Much of his credit is due to Johnny the fish the moment dude though.
