Johnsfolly Posted April 3, 2022 Posted April 3, 2022 Some white River memories with a bunch of OAF guys. How many can you name? I spent a fair amount of time manning the fryer with Les @grizwilson both in Arkansas And in Branson And there was fishing along the way. Hope to see many more OAF folks along the way. gotmuddy Posted April 4, 2022 Posted April 4, 2022 There's no way I could try to tag everyone I have met over the years on here. I have had some great times for sure and pray that they continue. grizwilson, Daryk Campbell Sr, Johnsfolly and 1 other 4 everything in this post is purely opinion and is said to annoy you.
Members KMHendu Posted April 4, 2022 Members Posted April 4, 2022 I’ve been a member for I think 2 years and hardly ever post but this thread got me thinking about missing out on meeting people because I’ve been a lurker who comes to the site at least once a day and haven’t met anyone on here. I’m going to try and change that. Seth, JestersHK, mixermarkb and 5 others 8
FishnDave Posted April 4, 2022 Posted April 4, 2022 There's a guy from OA that keeps introducing me to new species and new places, greatly impresses me with his ability to catch anything and everything with any type of gear, and even lets me net some of his fish! I really appreciate his kindness, patience, and knowledge. And there are a number of other guys here I haven't met....but it FEELS like we have, and I consider friends. Johnsfolly Posted April 4, 2022 Posted April 4, 2022 I know that @snagged in outlet 3 likes photos. So I posted a bunch in my previous post that I had of OAF guys and not just fish. However, the closest I came to getting a photo of Pete was this 😅 I caught this fish as Ham and I were talking with Pete in Oct 2019 below the Bull Shoals Dam. Missed the slam by not catching a brown trout that day. Did catch two subspecies of cutthroat. Daryk Campbell Sr, grizwilson, trythisonemv and 4 others 7
Seth Posted April 4, 2022 Posted April 4, 2022 I've met and fished with several now and everybody has been great. People always ask if I'm worried about meeting randos off the internet to fish with it and I'm like "I've been talking these guys online for years so it really doesn't feel that weird." If you like fishing then chances are pretty high that we'll click. BilletHead, FishnDave, Johnsfolly and 4 others 7

The first time that we went and met Pat and Marty, aka the Billetheads, my wife was talking with a friend of hers and she told them that we were going to meet a couple that John met online 😅. She then had to explain that statement a bit further as you could imagine. Bass Yakker, Daryk Campbell Sr, JestersHK and 4 others 4 2 1
