Second thought that has me a little freaked out...did you hear that a tiger in the Bronx Zoo tested positive for it?  If this virus can infect animals as far removed from humans as tigers, what other animals will be infected?  And will they be a continuing reservoir for the virus and another means of spreading it?

What I  want to know is who stuck the swab up the Tiger's nose and lived to tell about it?

As to the medial opinions on the persistence of this virus, there are some scary scenarios.  There's so much noise out there about this stuff that it is hard for this layman to figure out what to believe.

So I got a book in the mail. Can I heat it up to 180 degrees and be safe?

Yes, just keep it under Fahrenheit 451

I’m just mad fellas.  Sorry to make it political.  But we got a president that today said he deserved the Nobel Prize for Medicine.

Stop and ponder that for a minute.  Then draw your own conclusions.

in 2009 when obama won the nobel peace prize for basically showing up, he beat out 200 people who actually did something to further peace

Nobel prizes aren't what they used to be.

Since it’s a novel virus 🦠 it would seem some healers would build up immunity, at least until it morphs. But I’m feeling better about the 1-2 punch of these new medicines to heal in less than a week. Plus they are working tirelessly on a vaccine. I’m not so gloom and doom anymore but I’m using common sense...maybe common sense + 25% 😂

Will we ever really get the full truth of how this virus originated?

I was thinking. I know dangerous but I believe in the next week this will basically be over.

It has occurred to me that I know several people that had Coronavirus Symptoms back in early January, they went to the Doctor and the Doctor couldn’t figure what was wrong. They got over this. Interesting??????

This is the quote that I was referring to...it took me an hour to find it.  I think it’s the best post ever on Ozark anglers.

Coldwaterfshr was replying to a post in January 2011...someone was looking for advice on which 3 bass rods he should buy to use on table rock

He said...only 3 rods...that’s tough.  I’ll give it a try

Spinnerbait/buzzbait rod : a 7'3 Funeral Blakemore boron infinite-dynamic action pitching stick in negative sheen matte black (it actually absorbs light waves and certain radio frequencies), trigger grip sawed off and retrofitted with a Hearst dyna-glide shifter mated to a Diagon Centripedex 9.0:1 titanimum tricked out with depleted uranium bearings to keep the heat down. Freshest born-on-date Spiderwire in 17 lb test of course.

Crankbaitin rod: a 8'9 Montgomery Ward fiberglass/porcelain hybrid, med-heavy action foam grip paired with a Zebco Diamond Anniversary 404 encrusted w/ 42 carat cubit zirconia and diamelles throughout. Drag customized with Mickey Thompson high friction rubber, and Shizweki paddles. Maxima 12 lb green in Chameleon Blue (factory prototype not available to the general public)

Wormin rod (heavy cover): a 17 weight warped pool cue borrowed from the Twilight Inn (Springfield, MO - 1989), custom carved into a 5'4 foot medium-light action w/ pistol grip in high grade cork and top of the line ceramic guides. Tiger-flamed the entire length for extra badass aesthetics and mojo, and air-brushed in black-light glow paint with lots of lewd and semi-topless women in various states of undress. Mermaids with long hair covering their unmentionables and stuff. But tastefully done. Mated to that would be a custom Les Paul Ambassadeur reel, the first and best one they ever made and tricked out with a drag dial that goes all the way to ELEVEN.

I still have the Funeral Blakemore rod and the Monkey Ward crank bait rod.  The wormin' rod I lost that in a game of poker to Bill Babler.  He was mad at me for getting dog poo from the bottom of my boots on his boat carpet, and rather than pay him to have it professionally cleaned, he wanted me to give him that rod because he liked the nudey girls on it.  I didn't feel that was a fair trade, so we we settled the issue over a game of 5-card draw.  He had pocket deuces, but I suspect shenanigans because I let him deal.  Bill, do you still have that rod?

The Funeral Blakemore rod, I was fishing with it just the other day down at Simpson Park Lake and it started vibrating and low humming sound coming out near the reel seat, and then a second later . . . . clear as a bell it was replaying a KSHE radio broadcast from 1978, got to hear Smoke on the Water and then Blue Bayou by Linda Ronstadt.
