oneshot Posted October 27, 2020 Posted October 27, 2020 oneshot here. Have found out that having family and or friends in the same house NEVER works. Your In-laws are living like they was brought up. Pain but can’t change it. My Mother in Law lives next door in an apartment we fixed up. Me and her agree on nothing. She don’t eat anything in our house because it is hard telling what it is. I have made her sick many times by her watching me eat. All in your head. My Mother in Law is getting tiered of living here because in her mind her daughter would be over there 24/7 but there is no way. I respect her because she is 86 years old and no other reason. She has never got over her daughter marrying me. There is no changing me I do things my way. Had a Japanese friend she didn’t speak English but we still had long talks. Most cultures around the world the kids take care of their Parents in old age. This is why having kids is good. Oh also part of the kids wages would go to the parents even if they wasn’t living with them. oneshot
DADAKOTA Posted October 27, 2020 Posted October 27, 2020 My Dad would say, fish and houseguests begin to stink after 3 days. BilletHead and Gavin 2
oneshot Posted October 27, 2020 Posted October 27, 2020 I have to laugh my Mother in Law don’t like my wife helping me do stuff but it was ok her helping her Dad. My wife still does Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Carpenter work. oneshot

Wait until they are hard of hearing and won't wear their hearing aid.... OMG, it's unbelievable and hilarious at the same time. I have found after wearing Hearing Aid I can’t hear anything with out it. Shut it off to save battery. My wife is real fast to tell me ( Even though I can’t hear) That it does no good to have a Hearing Aid if I’m not going to use it. oneshot

No restaurant, gas station, or brand of cookie can possibly meet their high standards. They've been shopping for a new truck lately, so if you're a car dealer/salesman in mid-Missouri....you have my sympathy....Allow me to pour you a drink. 🙄 You haven’t seen negotiating at a car dealership until you watch my wife’s family. I just walk away and sit in the waiting room and eat the free snacks meant for people getting their car serviced. No amount of negotiations I do will be good enough, I’ve given up in that department. Just kick back until the “where do I sign” moment happens. "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor

Found one and was excited, my wife told me to go back and look, I found the other. Got lost the other day in town. Used GPS to get me lined out. I was going the opposite way I needed to. Buying or Selling anything I have found it best to have another person because I do it on my own I find I have messed up and POed. oneshot

They just have an unbelievable ability to point out...and dwell on... the negative aspect of everything. It kinda works out to our benefit to be honest... because I haven't had to buy a coffee maker, BBQ grill, wheel barrow, sewing machine, deep fryer, printer, and numerous other high dollar items for YEARS, because they buy it....get pissy about it....then give it to us because they hate it for one stupid reason or another. 😎👍 slothman, Daryk Campbell Sr and Johnsfolly 3
