I'll give you a tip I've learned on the Coyotes that I think makes it a better fish catcher....

Increase the blade size until it can't spin, but wobbles back and forth contacting the hook shank on both sides.   That causes the whole fly to wobble like a swimbait, and glide/wobble between strips or anytime you pause the retrieve.   Especially during a tight-line sink.

The slightly bigger blade maintains a back & forth motion at slower retrieves better than a smaller blade can maintain a full spin. 👍  Therefore, no need for a ball bearing swivel.  Any tiny swivel just big enough to go over the barb is fine.

Those are great!  I keep tying stuff too.  Lotsa variety.  I don't know what the fish like down here, so I should be paying attention to what you guys are using.

Yours look great just as well.  Its psychology with fish.  One person will tell you, they only bite on specific things.   The same person later on will tell you the fish are all used to seeing those same specific things, and wont bite them.  The best thing that I've ever figured out, is to have a line in the water.  With a lure of some type of course.

Everyone ignored it around here.  Turned out to be a good call, inspite of the bashing taken from the big city news outlets..   Banner year for everyone.

What have we learned? 🤔

You should all be dead by now right?
