Here is the aforementioned display case.
I want to free all the Rapalas, Spooks, the Hellbender, and a few of the old crankbaits from their illegal detention.

I have made only two visits to emergency care for unplanned hook sets. One for a spook and one for a wart. I self removed two others, a Sammy type bait and a flicker shad. The two latter were yank and pulls not involving joints.

These are the reasons I bought a Boga and forceps.

What's up with the hatchet looking thing in the lower right corner?  Hopefully they did not remove it from someone's forehead.

Probably what they use to chop the finger off to get lures out.

There’s all kinds of random crap in there. A chain saw chain. Some random metal pointy thing.

When Geno buried this one and we went to Branson ER I kid you not they came in with bolt cutters... I was like hey man he had 10 digits when I brought him in here.   I actually went out and got my multi tool out of my mary Poppins bag and used that to cut the hook after they sterilized it... I was like what the heck you're this close to two lakes and they didn't have anything to cut a hook...

Good pair of side cutters work best.  I keep some onhand now.  I could have avoided the ER trip, but Leatherman could not get the cutter in to where I needed it.

I keep a brand new pair in the boat.  I tested them too.  To make sure they would do the job.

Not quite like the fly in the ear or trebles in any body part, but this was my last fly/lure impalement. RR during winter C&R last year. Reaching into net to unhook trout when fly came unpinned. Glad I tied it on a barbless hook.
