Custom painting lures

those are some great looking baits guys!!

started sanding the bodies and taping off the bills on those Spros.  Have this stuff called Daniel Smith Artist Masking Fluid. I've been putting it on the eyes. We'll see if it works for that purpose or not. I've used it before on the body of baits with great success. First time using it to cover the eyes. we'll see how it goes..

Spent all day getting these guys finished up.  20 is too many to do at one time. Need to keep it down to 8-10.  Hand stippling 300-400 dots on 20 baits takes forever.

I’ll be interested to see if eventually the fish learn to read your autograph and shy away 😀

If so, you have my permission to put ‘ness’ on there. That should put them at ease.

         I thought about ordering a few of these blanks and doing a bit of painting. Until I saw all of these. I will not be posting if I do. I would be feeling really inadequate and unworthy,

I hear ya. I was going to order some square bills and dig the airbrush out.

Paint one red craw and the other brown and orange.  Then send them to me to see if they work.

May just be the lighting or did you go a shade more on the brown side with those @duckydoty?  Looking fantastic. 

Offer still out there I ship my kids down to ya to do the dots LOL.  Could speed up the process

Might be a touch more brown in these? I did go with more orange than yellow on the bellies.  I’m kinda color blind so it’s really hard for me to tell.
