Guess those over at that other place didnt like me questioning their rules. No warning, just a stern PM from Ol' Wags over there. Pissed them off when i told them to delete me instead of threatning it.  My wife got a chuckle out of it. I found it funny as ive heard for the past few years from guys that used to frequent there, that the mods are heavy handed. 

I have gotten a few PM's on here from members asking if i was banned.  My answer is that ive never been banned from anything. I go out of my way to help others, would give the shirt off my back for someone in need, help out with donating gear for youth that cant afford it "spent $160.00 yesterday to a fellow member here  to donate to a youth group", and always trying to do the right thing.  So it made my wife laugh to see someone ban me from something. To each their own i guess.

I got banned from there quite awhile back myself.   I didn't insult anyone or anything, I just said that I quit flying a flag at my place because I got tired of keeping up with all the rediculis "flag etiquette".   Up/Down/Up/Down, replace PROPERLY when faded or torn, ect.   

Those vets over there took that as a direct insult and before I could even talk my way out of it I was banned for life.

There are more guys acting like snotty teenage girls on that site than any fishing site I've seen. They fight with each other constantly.

WOW - "date the ban will be over = NEVER" And Wrench you are also banned?!?!

I am lurking over there a lot of the time but never noticed you guys posting.....they do get their underwear in a wad on  a regular basis....I just read and go on. I have noticed that some posters can get real intense real quick.....way to much daytime drama for me! 

I do like their buy / sell area and have gotten some good deals on soft plastics.

I'm glad Phil doesn't make this his life priority in making sure we all follow his way of life, or get banned one. I just find it silly to go to that extreme. I have a buddy, a state trooper up north that disagreed with one of the regulars over there on how fast his boat went with his setup. And after his 3rd comment, he got the same lashings as I did.  The "banned" treatment.  I'm a prankster, and take VERY few things in life seriously. This one here is one I will giggle about all year.

I still read the outboard forums just to keep abreast of common issues that people are having.  There are 2 guys on the J/E board that are sharp and obviously good techs, but the Merc and Yammie guys have said some stuff that I wouldn't touch with a 10ft. pole.
