bjovan Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 I'm sure they consider putting mounds of brush on what was once prime smallmouth habitat management. mixermarkb, vernon, Champ188 and 2 others 5

Consequently, you and me is either disqualified or overqualified but, either way, irrelevant to the issue. aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 The Brush MDC puts in is embarrassing compared to what AGF put in. Bull shoals has some monster brush piles and they put a whole bunch more in the year. magicwormman and dtrs5kprs 2
Old plug Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 The MDC does not really manage a thing other than how they are told to by there superiors. Who are told to to do by there superiors. Who are told to by the politician. Who are told by special interest with money to influance everything.
96 CHAMP Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 I was wandering that myself Champ, along with the dropping temps and the forecast of much more flooding rains. Will it cause them to abandon the nest??
MOPanfisher Posted April 27, 2017 Posted April 27, 2017 Length limits, creel limits, sampling of populations, enforcement, addition of habitat, testing water quality along with other agencies, yep doing nothing. MDC doesn't act upon the legislatures i.e. politicians desires, their funding is mostly through sales tax, they may not do what every single one of us wants but they do a lot. I admit that the amount of habitat that Table Rock could stand to have added is a LOT, crews working full time, year round certainly wouldn't over do it. Color me an MDC fan boy if yiu wish I can deal with that. I certainly don't agree with every thing they do. vernon and jim m 2
