This topic is starting to remind me why I don't like competitive fishing.

Why has it always gotta be a who has the biggest johnson contest?

Why can't people just go out and enjoy life anymore without it being about "bragging rights"?

This place is turning into Facebook 2.0

Well, if everyone was like you, how boring of a life would i have? No thanks!

Champ, top ranked as far as what? Number of posts? Likes? That screenshot doesn't impress me in the least. Heck, if you and wrench are both on there, then im pretty sure im happy im not.  👍

So whats the answer? Ask Phil to make the site viewable to members only? I believe you will get alot of new people to join that way, but they will only do it to read the content, as you stated.

Maybe make it to were, as a member you have to post weekly to stay active, or your membership is in pause? Im on a few sites that do just that.  Those that are here posting hourly, daily, weekly will do so because they enjoy it.  Those that join if the site was private, will fall into that paused membership status pretty quickly.

Tho my pro-active brain says to comment on your last paragraph, i will refrain for the sake of politeness.  😜

Look, why don't you take your testosterone and to borrow your own phrase, go "put up or shut up." Get your checkbook out, join a regional tournament circuit and go see how you stack up. There are ample opportunities to direct all of that competitive energy toward folks who are more than willing to let you show them how good you are.

I have no interest in indulging your whim for a throwdown over whatever perceived beef you have with me. Now you're taking cheap shots at Wrench. Heck, why not call out Babler, too? He's second on that list that I posted … right between me and Wrench.

As I said earlier in this thread, I'm working 60 hours a week right now and have little time to fish. Therefore, no, I haven't posted a report recently. Pretty self-explanatory, I would think.

When I get time to fish again, I'll be happy to post my results -- good or bad. I won't give locations but I'll be happy to talk about patterns, depth range, lures, etc.

Wow!  What happened?  Table Rock forum used to be one of the most active friendly groups on OAF.  If you don't like someone...don't hang with them.  I do a lot of things for fun to include fishing.  I tried Tournament Fishing and did not fare well.  It turned something I did for fun and relaxation into work.  I also ride horse, play guitar, smoke meat, grill, golf and several other hobbies that I do for relaxation and fun. I don't compete in any of them.  Champ will attest to my sever lack of skill in golf!  It's apparent that the original post is a fishing term called "trolling."  I usually don't even reply to trolls but the tone just had me pondering.

I read posts almost every day but don't post often as I haven't had time for fishing so have nothing to add in regards to fishing patterns.  Someone please shoot me a message if it is a requirement to post every week to stay in the group.

Dang!   What the hell did I do to get under your skin?   I thought we were airgun buddys.

If I let you beat me at fishing will you be my friend again?  🤔

               Whew,

I'm glad I am not on that list! Wait a minute I am right behind Wrench. Is it misery loves company or am I in with special people? 😁. I will be your new air gun buddy Wrench,

It's a long way if you live in Ozark too.

Lot easier drive, My tow rig isnt the most desirable thing to drive through the twistys on the way to Eagle Rock.  Pomme and Stockton are a lot of fun to bass fish on. Table rock has its days but more times than not it is much tougher

Conspiracy theorist!   🙄

Actually not at all.  I've just had first hand experience of word getting around about a small hot fishing spot on the internet.  On a big lake like LOZ no big deal.  Small areas that can't handle a lot of pressure get ruined.

Every once in a while we have to "go to the mattresses".  Except for us it is every 6 months or so.
