I have caught many a channel cat on purple wooly buggers. I am sure a squirmy worm would catch any redhorse. dan hufferd Posted December 22, 2018 Posted December 22, 2018 One river "real" river walleye, preferably, in SE Mo. I used to backpack in and around the Johnson shut-ins area, in my youth. There is some kind of romance in those trees rocks and water for me. I am still hoping for that 10# or 30"walleye from a SW Missouri Lake, hopefully Stockton but I wouldn't cry if it came from Tablerock. I would love to do all this with my wife, but I realize these are my goals.....that don't make sense. A word to the wise: The journey is the best part, the sense of accomplishment is fleeting. Memories are good, but active participation is better. I about drove myself crazy looking for a walleye from Stockton each month. The constraints of work, weather, time, money, some days I wanted to quit this foolishness, but once I got some water under the boat, it seemed to be ok. I guess I taught myself to work toward a goal, and enjoy the moment that I am living in. Now if I can just make some money doing what I love, win win. oneshot Posted December 25, 2018 Posted December 25, 2018 Use up my Dip Bait so I can use more Punch Bait. I have about 20 pounds of Dip Bait but found a Punch Bait that works as good and much easier. oneshot JestersHK, Johnsfolly and Daryk Campbell Sr 3

I would like to fish once a month. That would be an accomplishment for me. Thanks to the wife and kids this may be a little easier. My gift this year was a subscription to Mystery Tackle Box. Johnsfolly Posted December 25, 2018 Posted December 25, 2018 My daughter and her boyfriend gave me this for Xmas. Achieving my goals will be a little easier this year as well. And will get me some new ones for 2020 as well. Daryk Campbell Sr, timinmo, Deadstream and 3 others 6
