I didn't know somebody else came up with the idea of weird critters actually passing back and forth between dimensions...I had that idea years ago, and even started writing a novel based upon it.

I’ve heard the theory about them being from another dimension for a long time. I’ve also heard about them being from another planet and some people have claimed that UFO sightings have coincided with Bigfoot sightings.

Cool idea on the book. I would drop Tarzan too. I read a book recently called Devolution by Max Brooks. Totally new take on Bigfoot. I think it would be interesting for you. It also involves a volcano. The creatures in the book are not friendly at all though.

If that Bigfoot film was not faked then why when the creature got into the woods did they not go over and show the tracks? Should have been pretty easy to follow.

I started watching that Finding Bigfoot show. Stopped when I saw that you could participate in their investigations after paying them $500. Also due to the lack of objectivity in their investigations after having their town meetings letting everyone know where they would be. I can only imagine that they had folks doing those tree knocks, rock throwing, and showing up on the thermals. Oh and the lead investigator's name was Moneymaker :huh1:

Nice going, Oklahoma.  They are recognizing that they are real, but Sasquatch are a people, not an animal.  That's like opening a hunting season on Native American Indians.  Over 100 DNA samples were collected from all across North America and tested by multiple independent labs.  The results show a female contribution that is 100% match to humans, and a male contribution that is something completely unknown.

Finding Bigfoot is a farce.  Its been reported that Moneymaker uses reports people share with BFRO to locate and hunt/kill Sasquatch.

There may be some bad apples with Sasquatch, just like there are with humans.  Mostly they want to be left alone.  They will use a variety of scare tactics to get humans to leave an area.  If they wanted us dead, we would be.

I've heard vocalizations in Canada I couldn't attribute to any known animal.  I've heard tree knocks in Iowa and Missouri.  I've had stuff thrown in the water near me from the woods while wading streams in Iowa and Missouri.  My buddy glimpsed one chasing a deer near a trout stream we were fishing in NE Iowa.  Tens of thousands of people have had encounters.  I choose to believe most are telling the truth.

Big Foot survives and re-populates near all of the Boggy Creeks in Texas. I look each time I cross one just in hopes of seeing a fleeting figure. They especially like Muddy Boggy Creek because when pursued, they can camouflage in the water. With only their head above water they resemble duck weed.

I can't remember whether I talked about it on here, but there is a book that treats the Sasquatch phenomenon seriously, "Sasquatch, Legend Meets Science".  It discusses that famous video at length.  The book is out at our place in Montana and I ain't, or I'd go back and see what it says about the possible tracks of the critter in the video, but I seem to remember it discussing them.  It examines the video minutely, and ends up taking the position that the video has a pretty good probability of being authentic.

Somebody needs to kill one and show it off.

Last one I saw was at the Call of the Wild stuffed animal museum back in the 70's south of Poplar Bluff.  Interesting place with many stuffed animals arranged in scenes.  They had a bigfoot.

Its a titty bar now.
