That's what I was wondering too.  

I just checked. Their 6/30 results aren't posted yet, but at March 31 they had $60 million in cash and another $383 million in US treasury securities they could turn into cash with a phone call. How much are you trying to do your early withdrawal for, if you don't mind me asking? PM response is ok.

There's the answer.  They only have $60 Million in cash.  Maybe just move $59 Million at a time, to make sure they can cover each of your transactions?

You did say it was a "substantial amount" of money.... hopefully in 7 or 8 such transactions, you'll have it all moved.  If not...they can't cover you!

too late I just did a transfer myself - left 2 million though for other.

The IRA really needs to be done by Swaubb  in a custodian to custodian transfer, other wise you may incur a penalty or trigger a taxable event. CD's probably have to wait till they mature or pay a penalty. Not a lawyer/CPA but have some experience.

My BKD and Schwab investments are making over 12% so really we could care less about IRA'S and CD early withdraw penalties that are now making a whopping 0.37%

Thanks for the advice all she got it all transferred this morning after 5 months. And, yes she did threaten them. 

They said they were just under staffed. BS.

Been a total nightmare 

I've known a lot of fishing guides over the years but never one who didn't know a good lawyer or three. Might be time to call one.
