What happens out of network?   Like on vacation or traveling.   I’m getting close to 65 so I’m starting to think about it.   I went to one class at the community college but I’ll go a few more times to dial it in.

My plan covers out of network emergency services.  Routine stuff that you'd get through your network , but for some reason you want to go out of network, gets partial coverage.  However those out of network providers must accept Medicare.  There's about 4 pages of out of network reading in my plan.  The big one in my opinion is getting out of network coverage for emergencies, you'd want to make sure any plan you sign up for has that coverage.

Doctors are not Doctors first any longer. It is business first and foremost. Then maybe a little doctoring. My wife and I have been very satified with our supplemental with United Health Care. We have a PPO. Both my wifes new hips cost together was $550.00. Just cannot beat that. My eye exam last year was $30.00 out of pocket. Regular Dr visits 0 copay. Specialist $30.00. Dentist visits 2 a year, 0 copay.  Heck my Humira injection, for my RA, twice a month cost me sometimes $10.37 a month. If I had to pay regular price it would be $4 to 5 grand a month. And I would be suffering because I would not pay that for meds.

This saddest part of this is the $4 to $5 grand a month for any medicine is an obscene amount to charge, absolute greed and disgusting.

Watch episode 2079 on Rogan with Brigham Buhler.   He details the scam that is modern pharmaceuticals.  It’s simply unbelievable.  And the thought that fellow Americans are doing this to their own countrymen is very sad.

Last time I got glasses my exam was 50-60 bucks, self pay.  Government, big Pharma and the insurance companies all help increase health care costs. Medicine and surgeries are cheaper overseas.

When we were traveling full-time for 5 years, we needed a Dr a few times. They accepted United Health PPO. did not seem to be a problem. Out of network, we have never done or had to.

Pharma owns the TV networks, they own the media and they own the government.

You'd think a fifteen percent rise in all cause mortality since the vaccine rollout would be kind of a big deal.

But no - not peep.

Still "safe and effective."

And Travis Kelce says you can even "get two at the same time!"

Now THERE'S a deal.......

Insurance is the biggest scam in American history. Modern day mob.

Boom goes the dynamite --- nailed it. 🔨

Admittedly, I'd already replied when I looked straight down and saw that Vernon had, too. Apologies in advance for steppin on ya. I like you ... you bring my kind of fishing weather when you come to call. LOL

But gotta throw Big Pharma in there, too. I record Norah O'Donnell news every day and between segments yesterday were 3 consecutive Rx drug ads and a 4th for an OTC med. They did one story then broke again for 3 more Rx ads, 2 of which were the same as had just run 3 minutes earlier. For heck's sake, you can't turn on the TV anymore without seeing one.

Personally, I'd prefer more Norah and less of everything else.

I'm probably the furthest thing from a conspiracy theorist but you can't tell me that Big Pharma and Big Insurance aren't bumping uglies, so to speak. First question you have to ask about Rx meds these days is, does my insurance cover it? Side effects don't matter if you can't afford/won't pay the price for it, so Big P and Big I have us by the pinky toe with channel locks. A golfing acquaintance struggled for years with cancer ... he swore that the minute his insurance coverage maxed out, his doctors collectively told him there was no more they could do.

Again, more Norah. Just sayin ...

I heard 85% of news advertisements are paid for by big pharma.
