Bill Babler Posted December 2, 2021 Posted December 2, 2021 Just what is the cost of having fun and what does that mean to you? What's to much, what's not enough? It has got to be geared to the individual. If you had all the money you could ever need, how would you spend some of it? Would you buy the best equipment on the market or buy something that was serviceable? If saving money was not a factor, would it even enter your mind what something cost. If you take money out of the equation how would you spend it? Please give me your thoughts. crazy4fishin 1 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
FishnDave Posted December 2, 2021 Posted December 2, 2021 If money was not a factor, you'd want the best equipment, and you wouldn't care what it cost.
fishinwrench Posted December 2, 2021 Posted December 2, 2021 Depends on what I am wanting at the time, and how badly I want it NOW. Ordering things and waiting to get them delivered drives me crazy. I'd gladly pay alot more if things would just immediately fall out of the sky. A modest piece of property with a cozy place to $#!t, shower & sleep near each of my favorite fishing destinations.....is what I'd purchase if I had unlimited funds. dwiebenga 1

I'd have the best of everything including residences in the best places, best automobiles, trucks, boats, ATV's airplanes, helicopters. And the best support staff too. Chef's, maids, captains, pilots, guides, grounds crews, boat crews, maintenance crews etc. All of it. I'd be on permanent vacation to the coolest places on the planet. And never give it a second thought what anything cost. I wouldn't get on one of those rockets and get blasted into space though. Johnsfolly, Daryk Campbell Sr and gotmuddy 3

Dutch Posted December 2, 2021 Posted December 2, 2021 I’m not sure anyone on these forums can comprehend what you are asking. Personally I have enough money to buy what I want but I don’t have unlimited wants. I doubt any of us can imagine losing $17,000,000 this year because we won’t get a simple vaccination. Terrierman 1
willyfish Posted December 2, 2021 Posted December 2, 2021 That's a big can of worms you are opening with this topic Mr. B. Going into outer space would not be in the equation for me. I have zero interest in that. dan hufferd 1
bfishn Posted December 2, 2021 Posted December 2, 2021 The cost of having fun can include more than money. I had more fun in my first 63 years than any 3 men deserve... but I expect the bill will come due soon. No regrets. Flysmallie Posted December 2, 2021 Posted December 2, 2021 Cost of having fun? You have can have a lot of fun for nothing. But what would I spend to have fun with my family or friends and most importantly for the memories? Pretty much all I have if that's what it cost. I guess if I have unlimited funds I would just do more of that. I don't have to live in the biggest place or have my own aircraft. Maybe a really nice off shore boat and a crap ton of camera equipment. The rest would just be spent on memories and making sure the people around me are comfortable as well. I could have a lot of fun with that. And I'll take that trip to space. As long as it's with Elon. Johnsfolly 1
dan hufferd Posted December 2, 2021 Posted December 2, 2021 I hear that appetites are never quenched only developed. I am not sure what I would do with unlimited funds. It might take the joy out of everything??? I would like to say that I would help others, but I know that gets tricky too. Thought provoking! cheesemaster, BilletHead, Johnsfolly and 3 others 6
