Over crowding, boat operation and just plain on the water fishing etiquette are the main problem they really need to address. Their main problem is for the participants, its all about ME. The College and High School tournaments are just nightmares as far as fish care. In efforts to get as many youngsters on the water fishing a lot of the platforms these kids are fishing from are really inadequate to provide proper fish survival. In the past around State Park to Indian Point its looked like we have LMBV after a college or high school derby with all the dead fish floating. Not been a problem with the BBT. Of course some don't make it, but that's fishing. At some point we're going to have to follow the examples set by the Bass Pro Tour and the Kayak fishermen and release these fish where they are caught. Especially pre-pawn, spawn and the heat of the Summer. Good Luck Wow Bill I could not agree more about the catch photo release thing.

Ealy Posted April 13, 2022 Posted April 13, 2022 I’ve been fishing this tournament for the last 8 years or so and always look forward to it. A buddy of mine was lucky enough to win it a few years ago and this year he had his grandson and nephew together in the boat. What a great opportunity for them to learn the sport of tournament fishing out of the very boat that was given away as the top prize! I’m sure memories were made this weekend and new skills were developed. Table Rock does get a ton of pressure during the month of April. There were a couple of weekends in March that there were literally no tournaments going on, and I’d like to see it moved back a bit. However, March is typically going to have tougher weather conditions and less fish within casting distance of the bank. I think the big downside of this one is limiting the weigh in to Long Creek. Multiple location sites would make more sense and would balance out pressure across the lake. Everyone feels compelled to fish within a decent running distance and the Dam area just gets pounded. The second day we chose to put in at Baxter and run up the White. It was pretty much fair game up there and could fish about anywhere you wanted to. The downside was having to trailer the boat at 1230 and drive over to Long Creek and weigh in a fish. This pretty well ended our afternoon as they were starting to bite pretty good for us. A big plus in this format vs the standard tournament is the limited amount of fish actually being hauled around all day vs a standard tournament format. I think they put on a great tournament, but could be improved with multiple weigh in sites. Also, I’d like to see an extra payout to the top 5 biggest fish. I missed winning the boat by .01 a couple of years ago and received the same amount as everyone winning the hourly prize. Heck, maybe at least a hat and T-Shirt that says “1st Loser”! magicwormman, Champ188, abkeenan and 1 other 4

Your posts sound like the latter. Your comments only focused on negativity, which goes back to his “you must be a hoot at the party type” instead of either being a neutral party “as I’m sure lots on this site are” or throw in some positive vibes, along with your hatred. As was stated above this, there are very few of the 800 anglers that actually caught fish, especially with the weather this year, so your lack luster approach to keeping this lake to yourself doesn’t work. oil slicks from all the boats? That’s funny. BBT participants throwing trash out? Do you own a boat? Do you fish? Do you enjoy TR? If not, why are you on this forum? Your last 3 questions means you made no attempt to check my profile before posting. You sound like the type who judges people before you get to know them. The type who runs to the rescue to defend others on your side when there's a difference in opinions. The type who gets easily offended and has to make sure his voice is heard after by saying things that might hurt someone's feelings. I could go on about you ,,but there's no need really. I'm not that type. Very few anglers caught fish?? you saw the same tournament results I did, no? Did you see every fish that was caught and not weighed in?? Oil slicks, yes, evidently you've never seen what I'm talking about. Every gas motor boat that runs on the lake leaves an exhaust trail in the water. Minutes later depending on wind you can still see the slick trail, pollution. Lackluster approach? I don't even fish Table Rock, I just hate all large mega tournaments on any of lakes around me. I wonder how much stuff was stolen off docks and boats that week due to the excess number of people around?? If you don't like what I say thats fine. But to start off your comment by hatefully judging me, when having never met me,shows everybody YOUR personality TYPE. bobby b. and Champ188 2
