Table Rocks decline.

Let's hear what y'all think.     I haven't personally fished it but a few times since the LMBV debacle, but prior to that she sure was a gem.

Thats weird, i think the opposite as far as tournaments. Even in some reports i posted this year and last year, i said that the tournaments weights seem to be better now than 5-7 years ago when i started tournament fishing. Also see more largemouth weighed in than anything the last two years from what ive seen especially around Cape.  

And He post this on a day where the big bass in the polar bear tournament was 8.11. 

Took 19 to win on Table Rock today, also 19 on Bull with less pressure and development.  

While i agree its to busy down there and houses everywhere, he just looks for somthing to piss and moan about for views. If it is so bad to fish why does he go there weekly instead of all the other options we have around here

Yeah, no doubt it isn't as good as back in the day, but you can still catch fish there.  I know a couple of guys that did pretty good yesterday.  Blaukat loves to produce clickbait, he'll catch a few more with that one.

Watched his video and he was complaining about the scenery. I must admit I haven’t caught a bass on one of those mountain tops since I don’t remember when.

I have been fishing Table Rock since before some of you were born.  My take on it is the numbers of big fish (5-9#) is down.  I have no explanation for that.  However, I have found that the number of total bass is up, this is especially true for spots and smallmouth which some attribute to the decline in largemouth due to viral hemorrhagic septicemia.

I'm not a bass anglers, nor do I fish TR enough to have any intel.  But I have a couple of thoughts.

Old fish are smart.  They get caught multiple times in their lives and I'd think become wise to a lot of baits.  When the Alabama rig came out, lots of big bass were being caught all of a sudden.  It was so good tournaments banned it.

We're seeing the same thing on Taney with big trout.  To a point, they're getting wise to our lures - stick baits and jigs.  Some flies.  It's getting harder to catch them and the guides seem to come out with new stuff to catch them every season.

The other thing that has turned Taney around is less fish and more food.  They're stocking a lot less trout so there's more food -- that's the theory.  Seems like it's working.  Not sure how you address that on TR - that would mean keeping more bass and that's not a popular subject.

One other thing I just thought of.  Wouldn't the increase in the walleye population affect bass growth?  They certainly compete with bass for the same food.  More fish, less food.

Lot more people fishing and putting pressure on the lakes.  FFS has made it easier for folks to catch fish.
