Bill Babler
If I hear one more of these guys say how tough fishing is and it’s a total grind then put 22 pounds on the scale I’m going to scream! One of the BME. Guys said yesterday what a grind, I had to sort thru 50 fish including stripers, crappie and gar to catch these. They have totally lost sight of reality. I’ve fished TR for 50 years and I’m guessing I have had a true 20 plus pound 5 fish limit maybe 25 times, at the most. They have totally taken the fun out of fishing. dtrs5kprs, Daryk Campbell Sr and Champ188 3 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
Quillback
Shoot, I think that's a great day to catch a bunch of fish with some variety. Of course, I don't fish for a living. I haven't watched a lot of the coverage, but what I've seen the weather looks to be really nice. Where I'd see it being a grind is when they are out on one of the Great Lakes fishing a drop shot in 4 foot waves. I wouldn't do that even if I caught a 6 lb. smallie every 5 minutes. Hunter Shryock with a 5 lb. lead right now, I certainly did not see him as being a factor. Daryk Campbell Sr, dtrs5kprs and cheesemaster
dtrs5kprs
"grind" Easily my least favorite word used to describe fishing, even when it fits. Pull your hood up, pull it tight, put your head down and "grind" at them in silence. Champ188, 196champ, cheesemaster and 3 others 4
fishinwrench
Around here I consider it "a grind" when I simply can't catch a keeper. But I guess in a tournament where 3 pounders won't help your cause you could consider upgrading to 4-7 pounders a grind. They are all admitting to having a blast though, and in my mind a limit of 3 & 4 pounders......for 3 days straight......is a GREAT TRIP ! Daryk Campbell Sr
Gotta make it look as if you're earning your keep. Money is just ink and paper, worthless until it switches hands, and worthless again until the next transaction. (me) I am the master of my unspoken words, and the slave to those that should have remained unsaid. (unknown)

Man it drives me nuts when they say this . I also like the fact that Hunter Shryock catches a 6 lb fish . Freaks completely out , and starts telling everyone if they don’t use Berkeley trilene they’re missing out . Can’t watch 5 min without someone selling you something . Then it trickles down into the BFL and smaller tournaments . Can’t remember the last time I had a co angler that didn’t try to sell me something within the first hour. And they do all that selling and free advertising for the company for 10 percent off a bag of worms . It’s a joke . It’s my favorite thing in the world and it’s all crap now . dtrs5kprs, aarchdale@coresleep.com, Ik314 and 1 other 3
Flysmallie
It’s exactly like “game changer”. Just another overused term. 196champ, Lvn2Fish, waterpossum and 3 others 3 1

Champ188
Yeah, Dave (or Chris), I struggled this week (translation: never boated a keeper all week) but my Mercury-powered HydroBlaster filled with Shell gasoline moved me around the lake flawlessly, and my Lowrance/Garmin/Humminbird electronics distinctly revealed the infertility of all the spots I located in practice thanks to the incredible mapping abilities and forward-facing sonar of the aforementioned electronics. I might also add that my HydroTrail trailer carried my rig superbly from the Holiday Inn Express this morning to the lake, naturally assisted by the perfect roundness of my Cooper tires. I was able to cast and wind (fruitlessly) all day in comfort due to the outstanding performance of my Zebco technique-specific fishing system and I didn't experience a single failure with my awesome Hawg Wrangler Supreme 175-pound-test braided line. I'd also like to thank Strike King, Spro, Cordell, Creme, Zoom, Rapala, Bomber, Megabass, Gamagotcha, and Small Bite tackle companies for performing all day without a single failure (despite never getting a bite). Oh yes, and even though it never rained a drop all week, my Angler Condom rainwear performed extraordinarily. waterpossum, NebSchmidty, Macsimus and 10 others 3
