Man, if you would have seen the spread these guys put on today at lunch, all you guys would want to be here!

We had a crowd today!  I didn't count but may be 16 people.  All first class human beings and everyone got along!  If was actually just like a family reunion - lots of love in the room!

I can't begin to name and thank everyone for bringing all the great food.  Les Wilson's Smoked chili was awesome and so was DJ's wife's cheesecake.  Cody's shrimp something... I can't pronounce much less spell.  Curtis's duck poppers.  Rick's brats/sausage.  There was cake, and cake, and more cake.  Sauerkraut, not sure who brought that.  JD brought everyone a big jar of his honey and Marty brought some too... and some homemade BarBQue sauce.  I know I'm leaving out someone...

Fishing?  What fishing?  Of yeah - fried crappie and a walleye - the walleye caught below the a couple of nights ago.

The rain put a squash on the fishing this morning for everyone EXCEPT ONE PERSON - SANDY OSBORN!!  She said she had outlet 2 all to herself!  I'll let her give her report.

This afternoon, I did one cast wading above the boat ramp at the dam and caught 3 on a black jig.  Slow.  I heard some others were at Trophy Run and it was slow there too.

I caught a few.  Per Phil's recommendation,  I caught a beautiful rainbow on a white wooly bugger while fly fishing. My first trout on a fly.  Food an friendships were second to none.   Met many people who I've been really wanting to meet.  I'm so glad we were able to make this happen.   Thanks to all who showed up.

Congrats Daryk on that first trout on the fly. Well done. What a great time we had!

Thanks Phil for putting this on. Even though I wasn't there again, I can relive memories from past events and know exactly how things went. These events were always a great time and had lots of great food.

Congrats Daryk on your first fly caught trout! That's a nice male rainbow!

First I want to thank the Lilleys for making this event possible--my first of the kind.  I am already excited to go to the next one.  Great people, wonderful food, and the accommodations are top notch!

I fished Friday and Saturday for about an hour and a half, with about the same results.  Both days in #2 outlet.  Friday, I caught several fish, maybe more than most fishing in the outlet, and had someone ask what I was using.  The answer is always the same (Rick's standard reply), "Any color as long as it's gray."  Saturday I was amazed to have the outlet to myself for quite a while.

I caught 6-8 fish each day, the biggest each day was 2 1/4-2 1/2 pounds (sorry inches are like metric to me--it's gonna take a while). No photos this trip, didn't take my camera with me.

I look forward to seeing you all on the creek in warmer weather ❤️

What a great time meeting new folks and reuniting with old friends. Definitely need to do this every year. Maybe I’ll pause duck hunting for a weekend on the White, too.

Fishing was pretty good this morning. Cody, Daryk and I caught a lot of nice fish on jigs. And Daryk got his biggest rainbow ever. It was just over 20-inches. That was a great cap to the weekend. Thanks to Phil and everyone for the great event!

Daryk and I with our big fish. 22.5-inches and 20-inches..caught at the same time. That was a cluster!
