Ron Burgundy Posted April 4, 2020 Posted April 4, 2020 So as of Monday will fishing be shut down until end of the month? Gone but not forgotten Martin Ford
jdmidwest Posted April 4, 2020 Posted April 4, 2020 Nope. The way I read it, you still get to leave to find groceries.... dtrs5kprs and Ron Burgundy 1 1 "Life has become immeasurably better since I have been forced to stop taking it seriously." — Hunter S. Thompson
Members Ranger Dave Posted April 4, 2020 Members Posted April 4, 2020 We can still go to Walmart but heaven forbid we go to a boat ramp. You know those viruses hang out at the boat ramps just waiting to jump in your boat. Old dog 417 and snagged in outlet 3 2
Members Bluecollarfishin Posted April 4, 2020 Members Posted April 4, 2020 Outdoor recreation is still allowed as long as you are following the social distancing rules nomolites, magicwormman, BilletHead and 5 others 5 3
bluebasser86 Posted April 4, 2020 Posted April 4, 2020 Kansas did the same a few weeks ago and haven't had any issues pulling my boat to and from the lake. Outdoor recreation was also listed as an essential activity provided social distancing protocols were followed. magicwormman and dtrs5kprs 2
dan hufferd Posted April 4, 2020 Posted April 4, 2020 Just don't get a sakura massage, and you will be OK BilletHead and snagged in outlet 3 2
aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted April 4, 2020 Posted April 4, 2020 So essentially the new shut down is no different from last weeks shut down snagged in outlet 3 and Seth 2
Jerry Rapp Posted April 4, 2020 Posted April 4, 2020 I was reading Iron County's shutdown order and it said that people from other counties can't come to Iron County for Outdoor recreation opportunities. Maybe I read it incorrectly, I will read it again after some more coffee.
Dutch Posted April 4, 2020 Posted April 4, 2020 It is just about the same thing as we have had here in Greene County already.
Jerry Rapp Posted April 4, 2020 Posted April 4, 2020 here is a copy and paste from Iron County's order ------ I live in another County with a stay-at-home order, but I want to engage in outdoor activities in Iron County. Can I? No, not unless the activities you are referring to are business activities as part of an essential business. While we are normally a tourist destination for the beauty and ruggedness of our outdoor areas, now is not the time for travel to enjoy the outdoors. Enjoy the outdoors in your own county of residence. Outdoor recreational activities are not “Essential Activities” for nonresidents to be entering Iron County. I am not a lawyer and never will be, but this sounds almost unconstitutional ??? snagged in outlet 3, vernon and dtrs5kprs 3
