Johnsfolly Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 I have already canceled my trip to Bennett's for tomorrowš.So it's not likely to be much if any big deal here in Columbia. Some of that is due to the possibke weather the rest is a lot of stuff needs to be done at our house before Monday. Daryk Campbell Sr 1

Quillback Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 Just a cold and miserable rain right now. Ā A few years ago we had the snowstorm followed by a long cold spell and the roads here in this part of the state were icy for about a week.Ā People were taking pictures of where highways crossed the state line, icy on the AR side, bare and dry on the MO side.Ā Was all over the news, AR Dept. of Transportation was a laughing stock. So the Dept. went out and bought some more trucks, stockpiled sand and salt and even purchased beet juice which supposedly acts a pre-treatment de-icer. Haven't had a significant snow storm since then.. tjm, tho1mas, Terrierman and 1 other 2 2
snagged in outlet 3 Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 They brine the roads around here if there is even a hint of snow.Ā Twice this year they brined them and we got zip.Ā Last year 3 times with no snow.Ā I want to send them a bill to clean my truck every time they do this.
ness Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 I'm actually looking forward to holing up and watching a bunch of football this weekend. Biggest problem will be the dogs tracking in mud.Ā Deadstream, BilletHead, Flysmallie and 1 other 4 John

patfish Posted January 11, 2019 Posted January 11, 2019 I got to work about 530a and still no hint of the devil's dandruff.Ā Told the service guys to clear me a spot in the shop.Ā Heated and has a trench drain.Ā The boss doesn't clean off his vehicle.Ā I let it melt off. The Patmobile will be a balmy 68* when I depart for home this evening.Ā Ā Ā Here's proof.Ā I'm lazy, brought her inside early in the day so I didn't have to break out the squeegee and air movers.Ā Ā JestersHK, Flysmallie, BilletHead and 2 others 5
